If a fault occurs during use of the ASD-51N, for example, if you cannot connect to a
network although the network settings are correct, or the iPod cannot be detected
or the remote control unit does not work, you may be able to resolve the problem
by taking the following action.
n Turn the power operation switch on the ASD-51N’s side panel
to “OFF”, and after about 30 seconds turn the power operation
switch to “ON/STANDBY”. (restart operation)
n Reset the ASD-51N
Use the reset operation when you want to restore the default settings or when
the restart operation has failed to resolve a fault.
NOTE
When you reset the ASD-51N, your settings will be returned to the default
values. Please be aware that resetting the ASD-51N will erase all your
settings, including the stations registered in your Favourites and your
Recently Played list.

Insert a thin, pointed object (

reset button inside the ASD-51N.
• The ASD-51N will restart automatically. The GUI screen will appear and the
reset operation will be complete.
b To press the reset button inside the ASD-51N use a thin, pointed object such
as a toothpick or an unfolded paper clip.
