b1: After inserting the AC adapter plug into the wall
socket, turn the power operation switch on the
side panel to “ON/STANDBY” to power up the
ASD-51N. The power indicator then lights up, and
after 15-20 seconds the GUI screen is displayed
on the monitor.
b2: Digital connection is possible using a commercially
available coaxial digital cable. When using the
digital output, you will need to perform settings
in the GUI menu “Setup” – “Other” “Audio
Output” (vpage 16). The default setting is
“Analog”. Digital output is turned off.
NOTE
When making a digital connection to a DENON
amplifier released in 2009 or earlier, you should
not use the DOCK CONTROL jack.
b3: Please use a commercially available monaural
mini-plug cable for the connection. Connect to
equipment that has a REMOTE CONTROL jack.
The ASD-51N receives remote control signals
from the connected equipment, and these signals
are sent to the equipment to operate it.
b4: ASD-51N can be operated from a DENON amplifier
or DENON system device equipped with a DOCK
CONTROL jack connected to the ASD-51N.
Features may be limited, depending on the device
connected.
