Initialize the setting or SD Memory Card.
For how to select the setting items and options, refer to “Custom” on page 29.
1) Press [SETUP] in stop mode.
2) Use [Y / Z] to select , then press [ENTER].
3) Use [U / V] to select a desired option, then press [ENTER].
“Setup” : All the settings except for the “Ratings” and “Network
Connection” setting will be reset to default.
“Format SD Card” : Initialize the SD Memory Card.
“Erase Saved BD-ROM Data (Player)” : BD-ROM data for Player used for BD-Java will be
initialized.
“Erase Saved BD-ROM Data (SD Card)” : BD-ROM data for SD Card (available only when an SD
Memory Card is inserted) used for BD-Java will be
initialized.
“Network Settings” : Reset the network setting to the default.
4) Confirmation message will appear. Use [U / V] to select “Yes”, then press [ENTER].
5) Press [SETUP] to exit.
Note
Please do not unplug the AC cord or LAN cable while executing the “Network Update”.
All settings will remain the same even if you update the firmware version.
The disc tray will open automatically after updating finishes. This is not a malfunction.
